“We were using Excel and another CRM before...Edda's smoothed that whole process. We no longer have missing data.”

Tarquin Stephenson, AgTech Ventures at Cibus, on the transition to Edda

Visibility for historic data

“On the investment side, we were using Excel and another CRM before. This process was pretty slow. There was a lot of missing data and quite hard to track and then review. Edda's smoothed that whole process. We no longer have missing data. We can save all the information in one place on each company. So emails, notes, documents, etc., are all in one place, which means that going back and reviewing historic deals is much easier.” - Tarquin Stephenson, AgTech Investor

Tarquin Stephenson, AgTech Ventures at Cibus, on centralizing deals on Edda

Dealflow: Centralizing disparate deal information

“We review probably a thousand deals a year. Almost everything gets sent to me, and I will put every deal into Edda via the Outlook integration. From there, we upload all the information—all of our notes, decks, etc.—and keep them within company profiles on Edda, which is a core use case.” - Tarquin Stephenson, AgTech Investor

“We're able to track investors far easier than we have been in the past, and [Edda] is just a lot more user-friendly.”

Lucy Gray, Investor Relations at Cibus, discussing the migration to Edda

User-friendly investor relationship management

“From an IR point of view, we migrated over from another platform because there are a lot more features on Edda in terms of user experience for filtering and creating separate work streams. So we're able to track investors far easier than we have been in the past, and it's just a lot more user-friendly.” - Lucy Gray, Investor Relations Associate

Special CRM functionalities for investor relations

“We’ve found the ability to add custom information [like funds and their value] on the company page particularly helpful for investors that we're tracking for our third fund. We can use Edda to create reminders to follow up with them, for quarterly catch-ups, for example. Another thing that's particularly helpful is the notes section. We have lots of calls with investors, and emails often get lost, so having customizable notes in-platform is really helpful.” - Lucy Gray, Investor Relations Associate
